7 Days, 6 nights

Naomi Devlin is a gluten-free cooking expert, cookbook author, and teacher who believes that good food should be full of flavor, made with wonderful ingredients, and, above all, a pleasure to eat.

We're bringing Naomi to Château de Labusquière for seven days of cooking, eating, and enjoying the good life in southwest France. Think beautiful seasonal ingredients, long lunches, a little kitchen inspiration, and plenty of time to enjoy everything the French countryside has to offer.

Whether you've been cooking gluten-free for years or are simply curious about a different way of cooking, this is a week to discover just how delicious it can be.

Come hungry, leave inspired, and perhaps with a few new tricks up your sleeve!

Join us in Toulouse, France and cook with noami devlin!

Naomi's approach to gluten-free cooking is all about what you can eat, not what you can't. She's passionate about discovering wonderful ingredients, playing with flavors, and showing just how satisfying food made from scratch can be. And yes, that includes really good bread!

With years of experience teaching at River Cottage Cookery School, Naomi knows a thing or two about making gluten-free cooking exciting and approachable. From naturally gluten-free grains to sourdough and fermentation, there's a whole world of delicious possibilities to explore.

The setting for all of this is the 13th-century Château de Labusquière, tucked into the Gers countryside about 45 minutes outside Toulouse. Think thirty-plus acres, a sun-drenched courtyard, a pool, wandering woods, and long tables made for lingering. May is a beautiful time to be here, with spring in full swing and plenty of reasons to spend a little longer outdoors.

Good food, good company, and a whole week to enjoy both. What's not to love?

Food is a big part of the week around here, and we take it very seriously. Well, the eating part anyway.

Our Rêverie chef is here to make sure you eat exceptionally well all week. Expect three chef-prepared meals a day, built around what's looking best at the market that week and served family-style around a long table, with plenty of wine and nowhere else you need to be. Mornings start slowly over coffee, lunches have a habit of stretching into the afternoon, and dinner is the kind of affair where someone inevitably asks, "Wait, is there more of that?"

The kitchen is part of the fun too. Curious about what's cooking? Ask away. You might even pick up a trick or two from our Reverie chef along the way.

And then there's the wine! Our Reverie sommelier selects natural wines to complement the food and the region. Expect to discover some wonderful French wines, learn a thing or two, and perhaps find a new favorite. All explained, as always, without a drop of pretension.

All you need to do is pull up a chair, pour yourself another glass, and enjoy. We'll take care of the rest!

Welcome to Château de Labusquière, your home for the week. This enchanting 13th-century castle, thoughtfully renovated, has 15 rooms and 8 bathrooms — enough space to feel genuinely at ease, private when you want it, and together when you don't! It sits on a hilltop in Montadet, in the heart of Le Gers, 45 minutes outside the city of Toulouse with views of the French countryside that make it hard to believe this is real life. Thirty-plus acres of grounds are yours to wander: a swimming pool, a petanque court (French bocci) with a view, paths through the park and forest, and the resident peacock, Yopi, who considers himself part of the hosting team.

It's our Rêverie home away from home.

  • "When I booked the trip I was desperate to find an experience that was different, with freedom to do or not do. When trip time came around I was in a better place and was going just for the fun of it. My decision to do this for myself was a great decision."

    —Toulouse Guest, 2025

  • "I truly could not have planned something more well suited for me if I tried. I felt so well taken care of, spoiled even, with your hospitality and delicious food. This is an experience I will carry with me for a long time."

    —Toulouse Guest, 2025

Your week begins in Toulouse, with one night at one of our favorite hotels in the city center. The evening is yours to wander the pink-brick streets. We’ll send along our favorite spots for dinner (or for ordering in, if jet lag wins).

The next morning, our vans whisk you away to Château de Labusquière, where Sara and the Rêverie team will be waiting with lunch on the table. From there, the days settle into their own easy rhythm. Three hands-on cooking workshops with Sara, with plenty of room to taste as you go. A market morning to see what early summer is bringing in. A guided natural wine tasting, no fancy vocabulary required. And a day back in Toulouse for the markets, the Garonne, and a dinner out on the town.

In between? Long lunches in the courtyard, lazy afternoons by the pool, and free time for painting a postcard, finishing a book, or doing absolutely nothing. It’s vacation, y’all! Evenings belong to apéro, long dinners at the big table, the famous Rêverie grill party, and karaoke that gets louder as the night goes on.

After one last breakfast together, we’ll get you to the airport or train station in Toulouse: full, happy, and with a whole new group chat.
