From $3,200
7 days, 6 nights, infinite possibilities
A casual lil food retreat where everyone’s the chef, everyone’s the dishwasher, and no one’s getting out of chopping onions.
This is community stew — messy, flavorful, beautifully imperfect, and made by you.
You’ll arrive with a suitcase and some mild social anxiety. You’ll leave with a full belly, a few new best friends, and a healthy distrust of anyone who won’t do dishes.
Glad you asked. Imagine if all of your friends got together for a week in a château in France to have dinner parties, play games, get goofy and have fun…except you don’t know all of the friends just yet. That’s us. A way to experience the incredibly rich culinary life in France and really connect with the people and places around you in an intense and meaningful way - over cooking, playing and washing up!
Everyone’s the Chef: You cook with strangers. You become friends. You bond over whether to roast the beautiful summer carrots or serve them raw. We’ll provide the recipe and a dose of professional guidance, you’ll provide the hands and the heart.
Everyone Does the Dishes: There shall be no "staff." There’s just… us. Together. Wearing aprons. Washing plates. Maybe singing, maybe dancing. Maybe not. We’ll all take dish shifts and with the power of team spirit (and some commercial dishwashers!) we’ll knock ‘em out in no time. Gloves and tunes provided!
Add on adventures: In an effort to keep the price tag down in the Rêveroo world, we’ll give you the option of how much or how little you choose to leave your château home. Transportation to and from the airport is included, as well as a ride into the city for your big day out! Beyond that, if you’d like to rent a car to get around, you’re more than welcome to. Or, reserve a spot for one of our scheduled excursions to add some pizazz. Choose your own adventure!

Collaborative, Experimental, self-serviceish
If you miss summer camp but hate lanyards
If you’re down to chop garlic while dancing to 90s guilty pleasures
If you want to be part of making the retreat what it is
If you like a schedule, but sometimes you want to play it by ear
If you know the best conversations happen while doing the dishes
RêverOO is for you….
VS
Chef-led, polished, curated, full-service
If you’d rather skip the dishes and just relax
If you’re ready to take the week off and indulge in absolute pampering
If you want to learn from a renowned guest host and boost your skills
If you’re dreaming of an all-inclusive, resort-style getaway
If you’d rather have delicious meals prepared for you (finally!) instead of spending your afternoons in the kitchen
RêverIE is for you….
9:00 am – Lazy-ish Breakfast
Wake up in your spectacular room at the Château de Labusquière, and head down to breakfast. We’ll provide the pastries, the jams, the butter, the granola, the yogurt. And then, someone makes eggs. Someone burns the toast. Someone brings out jam they made at home. You love them instantly.
10:00 am – Kitchen Collabs
Today you’re on Team Lunch! You and your squad go full Iron Chef with beets, fresh goat cheese, and killer vibes. You nail it with the guidance of our Reveroo chef. Yum yum!
12:00 pm – Lunch is served!
Meet in the courtyard for a buffet-style lunch prepared by your peers. If your team is on wash-up duty, you’ll head to the kitchen after you’ve eaten for a daytime dish party!
2:00 pm - Free time or Workshop mode
Some days, we’ll have a Reveroo chef-guided workshop in the kitchen to work on skills like sauce-making, cheese-making, or other classic French must-haves. Some days, the afternoon will be yours to relax, château-style, or to go out on an optional add-on excursion (not included!)
4:00 pm – Kitchen Collabs, evening edition
If your team is Team Dinner for the evening, time to throw on your aprons and head to the kitchen to prepare the feast. We’ll provide the recipes, the ingredients, and the guidance you need for success. You’ll leave feeling ready to host your own dinner party from A-Z!
6:00pm – Apéro - the French cocktail hour
It’s not a true dinner in France without a pre-game cocktail! Meet up in the salon to make your own classic cocktail. Perhaps someone in the group was inspired to create a tasty punch for the day! Enjoy it by the pool along with some delicious conversation and your toes in the water.
7:00pm – Feast Mode
Everyone sits down to a long, loud meal with candles, laughter, and that one person who made their secret sauce and won’t tell us what’s in it.
8:30pm – Dish Party
Team dish, your time to shine! We blast music. We wash. We dry. We swap ghost stories or break into spontaneous karaoke. It’s more fun than it should be.
9:30pm – Digestif + Shenanigans
A bar of French digestifs awaits. The world makes sense for a minute.

So…How does it work?
Prior to your arrival, you’ll be assigned to a team. Each team will have responsibilities each day to keep the train moving, and your daily duties will rotate so you have a chance to experience everything! Your responsibilites will include:
Cooking lunch with recipes and ingredients provided and a Reveroo chef to guide you
Lunch dishes - Keep that kitchen pristine for your dinner crew friends!
Cooking dinner with recipes and ingredients provided and a Reveroo chef to guide you
Setting the dinner table - We’ll teach you the Reveroo ways!
Dinner dishes - where the real party happens
…and we’ll ask you for some help with other little chores throughout the day. This is your home for the week! But don’t worry - you’ll have plennnnnty of time to relax and nap by the pool. The views are outrageous!

What do I do with free time at the Château de Labusquière?
Yes, you’re out in the middle of nowhere France, and it’s paradise!!! Here are some of our favorite ways to pass the time:
Pool time, obviously!
Ping pong, pétanque (that’s French for bocci ball!), puzzles, painting - we’ve got the P’s pretty much covered, and we’ll provide all you need for a good time
A walk in the fields and woods behind the château, or a walk along the winding country roads
Write a tune on the pedal organ in the chapel
Curl up on a couch with your favorite book
**For those who know they’ll need to get out of the house more, we encourage you to rent a car for the week or sign up for some of the optional excursions!
Depending on interest and availability, excursion reservations will be confirmed closer to your Reveroo date, but here’s look into some possibilities:
Day trip to Rocamadour, a stunning cliffside village that’s been drawing visitors for centuries and to Pech Merle, one of the oldest sites to view authentic cave paintings from way back when!
Half-day trip to a local vineyard for a visit and wine tasting
Half-day trip trip to Lectoure for their traditional French market and a stop at the Village of Antiques inhabiting the old hospital.
Please note that these add-on adventures are NOT included in your reservation. You will have the option to reserve your spot for excursions closer to your retreat date!

BY PLANE
Several planes fly direct to Toulouse Blagnac airport (TLS) every day from Paris and other cities around Europe. We will arrange for an airport pickup on June 15th at 3:00 p.m. for a transfer to your hotel. If you arrive before or after the scheduled pickup, the airport is a short 20 minute drive from the city and you can easily catch a taxi or an Uber to the Grand Hotel de l’Opéra. On June 21st, our drivers will drop you off at the airport at 11:00 am. We recommend booking a flight that leaves no earlier than 1:00 pm.
All you have to do is get to Toulouse and we’ll take it from there!
*If you choose to leave earlier than the schedule departure on the last day, we would be happy to help you arrange for a private driver for an additional fee.
BY CAR
If you’re the seasoned-traveler type and you’d enjoy having your own transportation, then please - rent a car in Paris and drive down! Have a stopover in the region of Dordogne for a foie gras tartine and make a pitstop for the wild view of the old cliffside city in Rocamadour. You could then keep your car for the week and choose your own destiny, or drop off at the Toulouse airport on the first day of the retreat and we’ll come grab you.
BY TRAIN
Trains are another option for those who feel comfortable traveling around on their own! Please note that if you take the train to the Toulouse Matabiau train station, our scheduled pickup will not be available for a hotel transfer. You can either grab a taxi or walk to the Grand Hôtel de l’Opéra - a 20-minute walk.
