Reveroo is an immersive culinary week that celebrates the connection between food, season, and place. Hosted entirely by the Rêverie team, it explores a carefully chosen theme -- for spring, that's asparagus, strawberries, and everything a duck can become -- through masterclasses, hands-on workshops, visits with local artisans, and shared meals.
You won't just cook. You'll learn how to select it, prepare it, preserve it, and transform it -- exceptional regional ingredients, handled the way generations of French cooks have handled them before you. Intimate by design (we cap it at 16), Reveroo is a week of skill-building, creativity, and connection for the curious cook who’s willing to get their hands dirty.
It's for people who want to understand what they're eating, not just eat it. Cooks of every level welcome -- this is built for home cooks who want to go deeper, not professionals chasing a certificate. (There's no certificate. There's no test. Just five days of getting your hands into it. Think the fun parts of school -- the curiosity, the learning -- with none of the grading.)
meet your reveroo guide, paul albert!
Bonjour!
Paul is one of those instant-friend kind of humans. Always smiling, always interested, and so generous with his kindness and his knowledge. You’ll feel instantly at ease with him as your teacher and very soon, you’ll understand how lucky you are to have met him!

Collaborative, Experimental, Hands-On
If you want to leave knowing how to break down a whole duck -- not just watch someone else do it
If "dirty hands" sounds like a feature, not a warning
If you want to learn directly from French farmers, artisans and chefs
If you want five days, fully in it, learning, cooking, growing -- no city day, no distractions
If you want to go home with real kitchen skills
RêverOO is for you….
VS
Chef-led, polished, curated, full-service
If you're coming for a specific chef, baker, or wine host you already love
If you want real free time -- the pool, a book, an afternoon that goes nowhere
If you'd rather watch and taste than have a knife in your hand all week
If a day wandering the city sounds like the best part of the trip
If you want the full Rêverie treatment: taken care of, without being managed
RêverIE is for you….
What do I do with free time at the Château de Labusquière?
Yes, you’re out in the middle of nowhere France, and it’s paradise!!! Here are some of our favorite ways to pass the time:
Pool time, obviously!
Ping pong, pétanque (that’s French for bocci ball), puzzles, painting - we’ve got the P’s pretty much covered, and we’ll provide all you need for a good time
A walk in the fields and woods behind the château, or a walk along the winding country roads
Write a tune on the pedal organ in the chapel
Curl up on a couch with your favorite book
**For those who know they’ll need to get out of the house more, we encourage you to rent a car for the week or sign up for some of the optional excursions!
Depending on interest and availability, excursion reservations will be confirmed closer to your Reveroo date, but here’s look into some possibilities:
Day trip to Rocamadour, a stunning cliffside village that’s been drawing visitors for centuries and to Pech Merle, one of the oldest sites to view authentic cave paintings from way back when!
Half-day trip to a local vineyard for a visit and wine tasting
Half-day trip trip to Lectoure for their traditional French market and a stop at the Village of Antiques inhabiting the old hospital.
Please note that these add-on adventures are NOT included in your reservation. You will have the option to reserve your spot for excursions closer to your retreat date!

BY PLANE
Several planes fly direct to Toulouse Blagnac airport (TLS) every day from Paris and other cities around Europe. We will arrange for an airport pickup on June 15th at 3:00 p.m. for a transfer to your hotel. If you arrive before or after the scheduled pickup, the airport is a short 20 minute drive from the city and you can easily catch a taxi or an Uber to the Grand Hotel de l’Opéra. On June 21st, our drivers will drop you off at the airport at 11:00 am. We recommend booking a flight that leaves no earlier than 1:00 pm.
All you have to do is get to Toulouse and we’ll take it from there!
*If you choose to leave earlier than the schedule departure on the last day, we would be happy to help you arrange for a private driver for an additional fee.
BY CAR
If you’re the seasoned-traveler type and you’d enjoy having your own transportation, then please - rent a car in Paris and drive down! Have a stopover in the region of Dordogne for a foie gras tartine and make a pitstop for the wild view of the old cliffside city in Rocamadour. You could then keep your car for the week and choose your own destiny, or drop off at the Toulouse airport on the first day of the retreat and we’ll come grab you.
BY TRAIN
Trains are another option for those who feel comfortable traveling around on their own! Please note that if you take the train to the Toulouse Matabiau train station, our scheduled pickup will not be available for a hotel transfer. You can either grab a taxi or walk to the Grand Hôtel de l’Opéra - a 20-minute walk.
